IP Phone Setup Guide
In general, you should have a router whose WAN port is connected to the Ethernet port of your DSL or cable modem. You can then connect your IP phone to one of those LAN ports of the router, and your computer to another LAN port of the router. If you do so, you already accomplish steps 1 and 2 of the following guide.
For Linksys phone
1. Plug in your Linksys IP phone to the network that has Internet connection already.
2. Connect your computer to the same network.
3. Find your Linksys IP phone’s IP address by pressing the menu button (the one to the right of button number 6), then select “9 Network”.
4. Open your browser to that IP address/admin/advanced. For example: http://192.168.1.123/admin/advanced
5. Select the "Provisioning" page, and enter "http://blackbook2.cpbx.com/linksys/$MA.cfg " in the "Profile Rule" field.
6. Save and reboot the phone (by unplugging the power cord then plugging it back if necessary).
For Grandstream phone

2. Connect your computer to the same network.
3. The Grandstream IP phone’s IP address should be displaying on its LCD panel. Note it down.
4. Open your browser to that IP address and log in (default password "admin").
5. Select the "ADVANCED SETTINGS" page, and enter "blackbook2.cpbx.com/grandstream" in the "Config Server Path" field.
6. Save and reboot the phone (by unplugging the power cord then plugging it back if necessary).
For Aastra phone
1. Plug in your Aastra phone to the network that has Internet connection already.
2. Connect your computer to the same network.
3. Find your Aastra phone’s IP address by pressing the “Option” button if yours is a 9133i model, or the button below the orange button if yours is a 480i model. Enter the password (default 22222), then select 2 to show the IP address.
4. Open your browser to that IP address and log in (default password "22222").
5. Select "Configuration Server" from the menu.
6. Set up the following:

For Incoming Calls
There are 6 different numbers for people outside of the BB2 VOIP network to call into the PBX and get to the extension number that they want: It's extension to extension only within the network:
949-203-3799 (South Orange County, CA)
305-434-7252 (Miami, Florida)
407-608-5688 (Orlando, Florida)
310-362-9366 (Santa Monica, CA)
425-880-2626 (Northern Washington)
925-281-4646 (Northern California)
Both *97 and *98 can be used to check voicemail. The difference is *97 assumes you are at your own IP phone already, so it won't ask you to enter your mailbox number (extension number), but only your password; *98 assumes you to be from any IP phone, therefore it will ask you to enter the box number (extension number) first, then your password for that mailbox, before you can go on to get your messages.
Voicemail User Guide
You should see the red light of your IP phone on, as well hear a stutter tone when you pick up your phone, whenever you have new message(s) waiting in your voicemail box. The lamp will be turned off and the stutter tone will disappear once the new message(s) are checked.

You can also retrieve your messages through the Web by opening your browser to http://blackbook2.cpbx.com/recordings/index.php. Use your extension number (which is your mailbox number) as the login ID, and your mailbox password as the password, to log in.
